Dr. Mark Mueller is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and was honored as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He recently accepted the position as Medical Director, and will soon practice at Pershing General Hospital in Lovelock Nevada. He has over 30 years of experience in both Emergency and Hospitalist Medicine, caring for patients and their families in crisis. Prior Practice Locations include Santa Barbara County, CA as well as 20 years in Spokane & Eastern WA, which include prior ED and Hospitalist Directorships, as well as extensive teaching experience for the American Heart Association National Faculty, and the American College of Surgeons ATLS Program, with focus on Resuscitation and providing Cardiovascular Training for Paramedics, Physician Assistants (Medix Univ WA), and Internal Medicine Residents. (Spokane Sacred Heart) He will continue his prior Nevada Office Practice in California, focusing on longstanding interests which include Senior Health, Preventative Medicine, Wellness, Difficult Diagnoses, and the use of Ultrasound in the Office. Previously with Banner Health Clinic in Fernley, Nevada.

Dr. Mueller obtained his Medical Degree from the prestigious University of California, Irvine School of Medicine in 1981 and completed his residency in internal medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital from 1981 to 1984. Previously a Lt. Commander in the Public Health Service. He was recently honored by the Nevada State Senate as a Veteran for his work in furthering Rural Medicine in Nevada State, a testament to his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of medical practice. By fostering open communication and involving patients in shared decision-making, he ensures that the treatment plans align with their personal, social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
