Dr. Martin Edep is a dual board certified internist and cardiologist practicing in Boca Raton, Florida for over 25 years.  Dr. Edep attended medical school and completed his internal medicine residency at the prestigous University of California San Francisco where he studied under legends of Cardiology such as Drs. Kanu Chaterjee and William Parmely.  He then completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of California San Diego where he was mentored by Dr. Anthony DeMaria, a leader in cardiac ultrasound and former president of the American College of Cardiology. While in training, Dr. Edep was actively engaged in research and was the recipient of the prestigous Shulman Award for excellence in cardiovascular research.  His research has been widely published and has appeared in several journals including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the American Journal of Cardiology.  While in training Dr. Edep presented his research at several national meetings, including the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.  He is also a published author writng a textbook on cardiovascular care.  Since completing his training, Dr. Edep has dedicated himself to providing excellence in the clinical care of complex cardiovascular patients. Dr. Edep specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases of the cardiovascular system, including coronary artery disease, vavlvular heart disease, hyperlipidemia and hypertension, amomg others.  Dr. Edep has severed in a number of leadership roles and has met with members of Congress to protect access to health care for patients.  He has recieved awards as an outstanding phsyician at the hospital and has been rated a "Top Doctor in Florida" for the past several years.  He also enjpys teaching medical students and residents and has held academic positions at the University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University School of Medicine.  Recently Dr. Edep added a concierge service to his general cardiology practice, serving as both the patient's internist and cardiologist.  He enjoys the challenge of providing comprehensive care to his patients and helping them navigate the complex health care system.  In his spare time Dr. Edep likes to maintain a healthy life style by exercising, practicing mixed martial arts and playing golf and tennis.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife Monique and his adult children Alina and Alexander.
