Tri-State Gastroenterology Associates is a multi-physician practice located in Northern Kentucky, specializing in gastroenterology. Its mission is “to provide compassionate, high quality, cost-effective care to patients with gastrointestinal related problems.”

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Jones earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 1997. During his internship, residency, and fellowship training at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, he received many awards and honors. These include: “Outstanding Intern Teacher” in 1998, the “Chief Resident’s Outstanding Intern Award”, and the “Resident Research Award” in 1999. Years later, in 2003, after completing his training, he began practicing with Tri-State Gastroenterology Associates.

In practice for more than two decades, the doctor is board-certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

A Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGAF), prestigious professional societies and associations of which Dr. Jones is a member of include: the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Gastroenterology. In addition, he is affiliated with St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Health South Rehabilitation Hospital.
