Dr. Alexei Wedmid has been in practice for over a decade, and has already become renowned as one of the top urologists in Princeton. His career in medicine began in 2005, when he graduated from the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Wedmid is renowned for his use of the very latest minimally invasive surgical techniques and technology, and has presented talks on this area across the United States. This was followed by an internship and then residency at New York’s Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Wedmid then completed a fellowship in Robotic and Laparoscopic Urology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Wedmid is certified by the American Board of Urology, and he diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions for patients of all ages. Conditions treated by him include kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, voiding dysfunction, and benign prostate disease. He is particularly known as an expert in robotic cancer surgery for kidney, prostate and bladder cancer.
