Get to know Pediatric Dentist Dr. Shane Moore, who serves patients in Texas.

A committed pediatric dentist, Dr. Moore is the Lead Dentist at Bumble Bee Pediatric Dentistry, located in Hutto, Texas.

Throughout his academic career, he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, before completing his residency in pediatric dentistry at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1998.

As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in pediatric dentistry by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Panhandle District Dental Society, the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence. The Pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years. Children of different age groups need different approaches in dealing with their behavior guiding their dental growth and development, as well as helping them avoid future dental problems.
