Born in Pakistan and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Ahmed’s journey to becoming a nephrologist has been nothing short of remarkable. After graduating from high school, he pursued his Medical Degree at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. Driven by his passion for medicine, he went on to complete his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Nevada – Reno, followed by a nephrology fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

In addition to being a board certified nephrologist and certified Dialysis Access Interventionist, Dr. Ahmed is a proud member of esteemed medical organizations such as the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, the Smith County Medical Society, the Renal Physicians Association, and the Texas Medical Association.
