She then went on to complete her fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Maimonides Medical Center. 

Among the doctor’s many achievements, she is board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. She is also board-certified in adult echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, in nuclear cardiology by the Council for Certification in Cardiovascular Imaging, and in vascular disease by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories.
