Thomas S. Parisi, MD, MS, FACP, RPhS, is a vein specialist who diagnoses and treats patients at Las Vegas Vein in Las Vegas, NE, which he established in 2007. He is a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) and leads the center as their Director of Endovascular Procedures. “Las Vegas Vein was created to serve the Las Vegas community with all leg and limb rehabilitation needs and not simply vein care. The facility is the only Accredited Vein Center in Nevada and he uses only Standard of Care techniques with FDA approved materials,” states the official website of Las Vegas Vein. The center is the only IAC-certified vein center in Nevada and is also part of the national PCMH (Patient Centered Medical Home) program that ensures that the center has the same standards as a hospital. Furthermore, Dr. Parisi is a Senior Attending Physician at the Desert Springs Hospital Wound Care Center. A Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Specialist with Healogics, which he joined in 2007, Dr. Parisi’s impressive professional journey spans fourteen years. Dr. Thomas Parisi is a dual certified Endovascular Phlebologist currently practicing with his private practice. Additionally, he is the President and CEO and Chief of Endovascular Surgery of Personal Medical Care LLC and the Las Vegas Vein. He is also affiliated with Desert Springs Advanced Wound Care Center. Previously, Dr. Parisi worked in wound care and hyperbaric centers such as North Vista Hospital, Valley Hospital, St. Rose-Delima Campus.
Dr. Parisi completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Pre-Med from Widener University in 1996. He then earned his Master of Science in Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University. Furthering his education, he earned his medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in the Netherlands, followed by his second medical degree from St. Christopher’s College of Medicine, Cambridge University, in England. Relocating back to the United States, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Nevada. Additionally, he completed Limb Salvage & Reconstruction training at the University of California.
Dr. Parisi is certified in Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine from the NACGME. Additionally, he is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine.
