Her nursing peers elected her HMC’s physician of the year and she received the statewide Apple Award from the NJ Nursing Association.
Dr. Bowers received her medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She then went on to complete her residency and internship at Hartford Hospital.
Dr. Bowers is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that board certifies obstetricians and gynecologists (OB-GYNS) and offers continuing certification to OB GYNS in the United States and Canada.
