Dr. Marvdashti obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences Dental School in 1991, giving her over two decades of experience in his field. After practicing dentistry for several years overseas, she relocated to the United States where she completed her residency program: and obtained her Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. There, she passed the Northeast Regional Board of Examiners (NERB) with one of the highest scores in her class. To stay up to date in her field Dr. Marvdashti remains a professional member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine. She currently practices with her private practice Family & Cosmetic Dentist with Stone Spring Dentistry. Sleep medicine specializes in diagnosing, evaluating, treating and managing sleep disorders in all age groups. Lack of sleep, or the presence of undiagnosed sleep disorders, can carry serious health consequences. Ranging from common snoring to serious life-threatening conditions, sleep disorders affect the lives of approximately 22 million Americans. That is about 1 in 5 people.
