Dr. Zalepuga, an experienced gastroenterologist, practices at West Florida Surgery Center in Brandenton, Florida. The state-of-the-art practice provides patients with medical and surgical care, specializing in the treatment of disorders related to the gastrointestinal tract. It has the newest equipment to offer patients the best possible treatment and personalized care on an outpatient basis.

With over two decades of experience in his field, the doctor is also affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers in the local area, including Digestive Disease Specialists of Manatee, Blake Medical Center, and Manatee Memorial Hospital.

After graduating with his medical degree from Kaunas Medical Institute, Dr. Zalepuga relocated to the United States to further his training. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Ball Memorial Hospital, followed by his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of South Alabama.

A Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, he is board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
