Get to know Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist Dr. Creighton E. Likes III, who serves patients in Greenville, South Carolina.

Dr. Likes III, a board-certified and fellowship-trained reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, serves as the IVF Director of the Fertility Center of the Carolinas in Greenville, South Carolina. 

A part of Prisma Health, the Fertility Center of the Carolinas consists of a dedicated team of fertility specialists and staff who truly want the best outcome for patients. Renowned in the areas of research, medicine, and teaching, they know that treating infertility requires a full-circle approach, which is why they take time to listen, diagnose, formulate, and implement a plan to give each person the ultimate gift, a baby. 

A 2003 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Likes III went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Greenville Health System. This was followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Duke University Medical Center.

The doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine addressing hormonal functioning as it pertains to reproduction, as well as the issue of infertility. While most REI specialists primarily focus on the treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrinologists are trained to also evaluate and treat hormonal dysfunctions in females and males outside after the reproductive years.

Among his numerous accolades, Dr. Likes III is the recipient of the On-Time Doctor Award (2015, 2016), the Patients’ Choice Award (2015, 2016), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2015).
