Dr. Claudia Cotca, is a 3 times graduate of University of Michigan, where she received a Bachelor of Science Chemistry Degree and major in Cellular Molecular Biology, Master of Public Health in Toxicology, and Doctor of Dental Surgery.  Dr. Claudia Cotca, an international lecturer and aesthetic restorative dentist founded the Washington Institute for Dentistry & Laser Surgery in Washington DC Metro, a private practice Institute with focus on technology and interdisciplinary smile reconstruction within facial neurologic & skeletal coordinates.  For two decades she has developed advanced oral-systemic protocols with focus on aetiologic diagnosis and integrated interdisciplinary driven therapeutic options in areas of her interests of lasers, temporomandibular and obstructive sleep apnea disorders, sports performance oral function, systemic implications in oral, aesthetic and full mouth rehabilitation, dental anti-aging and whitening therapies.  Through her studies in Toxicology and as founder of the C3 Think Tank, she continues to develop real time oral systemic advanced clinical protocols for a range of systemic conditions like diabetes, immunodeficiency, cancer chemotherapy and others. Dr. Claudia Cotca has served on national Boards and Committees including Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Oral Medicine, The Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry, American Diabetes Association DC Leadership Board, ADA Standards Committee on Dental Products, Subcommittee on Lasers, Whitening, Biologic Evaluation, as US Delegate to International Organizations of Standardization and held representative roles in the World Dental Federation and American Dental Association, among others.  Her memberships rank with American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, American Society of Laser & Medical Surgery, Academy of Laser Dentistry, and many others.  Since 2001 she has been involved in federal legislation and represented among others American Dental Association and American Academy of Oral Medicine as Spokesperson and Dental Expert on Capitol Hill, testified before United States Congress, and has appeared on national networks including Sirius XM Doctor’s Radio, ABC News, and NBC News as Dentist & Toxicologist Health Expert.  She serves as Editor and Reviewer in various journals and is Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy and is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists.
