Fellowship is presented to dentists looking to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining knowledgeable and current in their profession. In order to receive this award, Dr. ElBadawy completed 500 hours of continuing dental education with the AGD.
Dr. ElBadawy earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Misr University for Science and Technology in Egypt. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in general dentistry at the University of Maryland. He also completed an advanced program in implant dentistry at New York University.
Dr. Elbadawy’s parents taught him the value of compassion and doing well by the people who entrust us with their health. He lost his sister to lupus when she was just 19, and that inspired him. It is a cause that is close to his heart.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
In his spare time, Dr. ElBadawy volunteers with the Missions of Mercy, hosting free Dental Days for the community. He is also involved in lupus charity functions. Dr. ElBadaway’s favorite sports are swimming, tennis, and soccer. His favorite sports team is Liverpool FC.
