Dr. Eric Centofanti is both a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and a Certified Athletic Trainer. He started his medical interests while studying and graduating from Kean University with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. In his senior year at Kean University, he was selected for an internship with the New York Giants as an assistant athletic trainer. During that time he gained experience, honed his skills, and met the team’s chiropractor, which lead Dr. Centofanti into furthering his education and pursing a Doctorate of Chiropractic. After graduating undergrad, Dr. Centofanti attended Palmer College of Chiropractic. While at Palmer he focused his degree further with soft tissue manipulation and sports specific techniques. Dr. Centofanti was also an active member of Palmer’s Sports Council through which he attended and treated athletes at a number of sporting events. After graduation and completion of the chiropractic national board examinations, he returned to New Jersey and was hired on to the team at DeStefano Chiropractic and Associates. Currently he is in a multi office practice with locations in Hackensack, NJ and West 67th Street NY, NY. He is also the clinic director of the Hackensack office where he still works closely with college and professional athletes of all sports. Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Centofanti enjoys staying active by playing soccer, tennis, and a variety of outdoor activity. Spending time with family, friends, and traveling are some of the most important things to him. His aspiration is to continue growing his career by opening future offices that will provide excellent chiropractic care to those in need.
