Dr. Kevin Coughlin is the owner of Ascent Dental Care, LLC, Ascent Dental Solutions and Ascent Laser Aesthetics in Longmeadow and East Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
Ascent Dental Care, LLC is Dr. Coughlin’s private dental practice, where he currently is practicing general dentistry in Massachusetts. The dental practice services include general dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, Invisalign, pediatric dentistry, temporomandibular joint care (TMJ), implantology, and sedation.
Ascent Dental Solutions is a company that works with dentists at any stage of their career, from the dental student finding their first job, to the practicing dentist trying to improve their practice, and then to the dentist who wants to retire and eventually sell their business.
Ascent Laser Aesthetics is a company that does non-surgical aesthetics, which includes Botox, Fillers, radio frequency, hair removal, tattoo removal, wrinkle removal, brown and red spot reduction, along with Sculpture, which is body contouring.
Dr. Coughlin did his undergraduate studies at Springfield College. Furthering his education, he attended dental school at Tufts School of Dental Medicine. He then earned his MBA at Western New England University. Most recently he received his LE degree in Aesthetics. He is also one of a few dentists who holds both a Fellowship and Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Implantology and a Certified Instructor in the International Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Coughlin has been a practicing dentist for over 35 years. Dr. Coughlin also has done numerous Pod Casts.
Dr. Coughlin lectures for Excellence in Dentistry, The Profitable Dentist. Dr. Coughlin is currently on staff at Baystate Medical Center, Baystate Mary Lane Hospital and Mercy Hospital. He is also a member of the American Dental Society, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Association of Orthodontics, Valley District Dental Society and the Academy of Sports Dentistry.
When not working, Dr. Coughlin enjoys golf and sailing when time permits.
