Everytime I follow a naturopathy diet plan I end up with a headache. Is it normal?
There are a lot of different naturopathic diets, so what I’m thinking you’re saying is you’re eating a cleaner diet than before. When we cleanse, we detox and we can have detox reactions like headaches, skin, rashes, insomnia, etc.. it’s suggest that when you eat cleaner, diets, you should take some sort of a binder in between meals and away from supplements and medication’s to capture the endotoxins that are causing the symptoms. They will pass in time and it’s a sign that you have toxins stored in your cells. Anything you can do to help your lymphatic system will help as well as lots of water. READ MORE
How is diarrhea treated with natural medicine?
We treat diarrhea by identifying the cause. My first assessment would be understand nutrition and gut health. Many things interfere with healthy digestion like antibiotics, steroids, stress, processed foods, alcohol and anything that can interrupt the integrity of our microbiome (healthy bacteria). We use GI testing as well as food allergy testing outside of educating on healthy nutrition. We do use supplements to support optimal digestion as well as medications as needed if it is caused by an infection. READ MORE

Can acupuncture treat digestive problems?
Burping is "rebellious Qi" in TCM. Food should go down and out. When it reverses it's direction the energy is going the opposite way of the way the body was designed. Gas is a stagnant symptom.
