Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Donald M. Taylor, who serves patients in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

A devoted obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Taylor is in practice at Kingswood OB/GYN in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He can also be found on staff at Beaumont Hospital – Troy.

In regards to his educational background, he graduated with his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1971. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Beaumont Health in 1972 and 1975, respectively.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).

Among his most notable achievements, Dr. Taylor has been the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2016, 2015, 2014), On-Time Doctor Award (2016, 2015, 2014), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2015, 2014).
