Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Lauren R. Crosby, who serves patients in Beverly Hills, California.

A nationally-recognized parenting expert and pediatrician, Dr. Crosby is in practice at La Peer Pediatrics, where she brings her knowledge and compassion to her patients and their families. 

La Peer Pediatrics provides comprehensive pediatric medical care to infants, children and adolescents from birth to 20 years old. The goal of the practice is to provide the highest quality of care for children and adolescents. It strives to foster a climate of communication and collaboration with parents, patients, and staff.

With an impressive educational background that includes a degree from Smith College and a medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. Crosby went on to complete her residency in pediatrics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident.

Demonstrating her dedication to promoting best practices in pediatric healthcare and parenting, Dr. Crosby is an active member, Fellow, and Official Spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics.

In addition, she has served as a pediatric expert for television news, sharing her insights with the public on a variety of issues related to children’s health and well-being.

Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Crosby is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

Noteworthy is Dr. Crosby’s commitment to community involvement. She serves on the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children with critical illnesses. She is also a Founding Member of Hope in A Suitcase, a nonprofit organization that provides children in foster care with essential items such as clothing, toiletries, and school supplies.
