Dr. Spagnola has been practicing dentistry since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 1971. He spent two years in the Army Dental Corp in Fort Harrison, Indiana before returning to New Jersey and starting a practice in Cherry Hill with Dr. Harold Shpeen and Dr. Harry Feinhals. The practice continued until 2007 when they became part of the Simply Beautiful Smiles family of practices.
One of Dr. Spagnola’s loves is teaching and mentoring young dentists. He spent 15 years as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania and was part of the dental residency program at Virtua Hospital, where he served as Chairman of the Department of Prosthodontics. He has a very keen interest in reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry, which combines the use of implants.
Dr. Spagnola is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Southern Dental Society. He was chosen as one of the Top Dentists in South Jersey by South Jersey magazine. Dr. Spagnola is an avid golfer. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Janet. He has two older children and one grandchild who is an accomplished singer.
