With over five decades of experience in the field, Dr. Pongsa-Pyn Muangman, MD is a board-certified radiologist currently serving his patients at Radiology Associates of Hartford and the Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center located in Wethersfield, Connecticut. To begin his career, Dr. Muangman graduated with his medical degree from Chiengmai University Hospital in Thailand in 1964. From there, he completed his internship with the Chiengmai University Hospital before relocating to the United States and completing a second internship with the New Britain General Hospital. Wanting to further his knowledge in the field, Dr. Muangman went on to complete his residency with the Hartford Hospital followed by his fellowship with Hartford Hospital, Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital. To stay up to date in his field he remains a professional member of the Hartford County Medical Association, the Connecticut State Medical Society, and the Radiological Society of Connecticut. Dr. Muangman is also a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel. On a more personal note, Dr. Muangman attributes his professional success to his father and his family for their unconditional love and support, as well as his education, experience and dedication to the medical field. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, traveling, and being outdoors.
