Get to know Orthodontist Dr. Meagan C. Sturm, who serves patients throughout the State of Georgia.

A knowledgeable orthodontist, Dr. Sturm sees patients at Silver Smiles Orthodontics, with offices in Atlanta and Snellville, Georgia. One of her greatest joys is seeing the transformation of her patients as they progress through their orthodontic treatments. Her focus on providing the highest quality of care and workmanship is evident in every aspect of her practice, and she takes pride in knowing that she has helped each patient achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.

Raised in Marietta, Georgia, she attended Emory University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then pursued her passion for dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia, where she earned her degree and was later inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society that recognizes excellence in scholarship and character.

Dr. Sturm has always been an active member of the professional orthodontic and dental communities, with a deep commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in her field. Her involvement with organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Georgia Association of Orthodontists, and the Georgia Dental Association is a testament to her dedication and professionalism.

Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. Orthodontists are responsible for identifying problems with the positioning of a patient’s teeth and with their oral development. When she’s not busy practicing dentistry, Dr. Sturm enjoys spending time with her husband, Jim, and their two children, as well as their rescue dog, Wynona. She loves cooking and often tries out new recipes each week. She is also an avid runner and aims to complete 15 miles each week. Additionally, she is a devoted Atlanta Falcons and Braves fan, always cheering them on during their games.
