An accomplished psychiatrist, Dr. Wasilewski tends to patients at her private practice – Good Mind – in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. She also serves as a Consultation Liaison psychiatrist and Psychiatry Training Program Director at Henry Ford Allegiance Health.

Her approach to patient care is multifaceted and tailored to each individual’s unique history and life experiences. She firmly believes in integrating different therapeutic modalities, including medication, psychotherapy, and nutrition, to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients. Originally from Poland, Dr. Wasilewski obtained her medical degree from the prestigious Medical University of Bialystok before pursuing further training at the Wayne State University Detroit Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences. Following the completion of her residency, she joined the University Physicians Group, where she primarily focused on outpatient treatment, teaching, and engaging in HIV research. 

An authority in her field, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.

Continuously advancing her efforts, she is an active member of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, and the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.

Beyond her medical career, Dr. Wasilewski has a vibrant personal life. She has nurtured her creative side by studying oil painting under the guidance of Bazyli Albiczuk. Her time spent in Paris not only broadened her cultural horizons but also solidified her love for cheese. Additionally, she has developed a fascination for old masonry kachelofens, appreciating the craftsmanship and artistry behind these traditional heating stoves. Interestingly, if she had not chosen a career in medicine, she confesses that she would have pursued masonry. She also co-owns a rescue dog with her significant other.
