  • Does acupressure points really work?

Acupressure does work. In my practice, I use mainly acupuncture; however, I teach my patients acupressure points that they can use in between treatments to help their ailments, and I find it very successful. I even use it on myself when I don't have needles at hand and have a headache or a stomachache. Acupressure uses the same principles as acupuncture but instead of needles, it is done by applying digital pressure over acupuncture points or trigger points. It has been proven effective for nausea and vomiting post-chemotherapy or post-surgery, sleep problems, headaches, pain, and emotional distress. I hope this helps. READ MORE
