Dr. Ahlbrecht is a cosmetic dentist who is currently serving patients at his state-of-the-art practice -  North Meridian Dental Excellence - located in Indianapolis, Indiana. He and his staff are committed to providing the highest quality dental care in an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. Maintaining patient comfort at all times, Dr. Ahlbrecht is dedicated to helping patients attain and maintain their ideal smile for a lifetime.

Dr. Ahlbrecht received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in 2005. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010. Wanting to further his education, he completed extensive post graduate training at the prestigious Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL where he is now a scholar.  

Dr. Ahlbrecht is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Indiana District Dental Society. He is also a graduate of the Arrowhead Full Arch Esthetic program.  

Cosmetic dentistry is generally used to refer to any dental work that improves the appearance (though not necessarily the functionality) of teeth, gums and/or bite. It primarily focuses on improvement in dental aesthetics in color, position, shape, size, alignment and overall smile appearance. As a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Ahlbrecht treats all types of dental needs with attention to detail, including cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery (tooth extractions), crowns and bridges, traditional and implant-supported dentures, and partial dentures. His patients have excellent things to say about him, one stating “Dr. Ahlbrecht was very gentle, polite, and knowledgeable. He explained well what it was he saw and what needed to be done and why and did not appear to be misleading in any way. It was an excellent experience for a normally very uncomfortable situation.”

Dr. Ahlbrecht’s true passion is the art of cosmetic and complex reconstructive dentistry for his patients. He has received extensive training across multiple dental disciplines and can provide a wide variety of advanced general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry treatments. He has also dedicated numerous hours of time outside the office learning and perfecting the most up to date techniques in his field.

Dr. Ahlbrecht currently holds a study club with neighboring dentists that is focused on providing the highest standard of clinical care to each and every patient.  In his spare time, he enjoys his other passion, golf, as well as spending time with his family and friends in Wisconsin and Indianapolis, traveling, playing guitar, running, and donating his time providing dental care to those in need. Apart from his clinical knowledge and abilities, Dr. Ahlbrecht’s dedication to each and every one of his patients sets him apart from other dentists.
