Growing up in Northwest Houston, Dr. Parker graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business. After his sophomore year at BYU, he served a two-year mission in Oakland, California, speaking Spanish for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While attending BYU, he was able to be successful as an NCAA collegiate swimmer and Mountain West Conference champion. He then continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and graduating on the cumulative Dean’s Honor list.
Recognized as “Top Houston Dentist” every year for the past 12 years, Dr. Parker has trained with Zimmer Dental Implant Series, Gerety Orthodontics Seminars, and 6 Month Smiles Orthodontics to ensure that he is able to provide his patients with exceptional dental care.
Achieving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), he completed 500 hours of continuing education in various disciplines and a rigorous qualifying examination. Only 6% of dentists have achieved this award. He is also a current member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association, as well as serves as a Preferred Provider for Invisalign.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Happily married, Dr. Parker and his beautiful wife, Whitni, have three boys that keep them busy. He enjoys any time that he is able to be around his family and visiting new places with them. He is currently serving as an Instructor in his church’s youth group. His hobbies include running, swimming, playing the piano, and learning calligraphy.
