His extensive background and commitment to patient care make him a valuable asset to the Oswego community.
Dr. Ogg began his career in medicine as a Physical Therapist, acquiring hands-on experience in various settings including skilled nursing facilities, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinics. His journey in healthcare has been marked by a passion for helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
In 2011, he shifted his focus towards orthopedic surgery, where he honed his skills at esteemed institutions across the northeast, including Millcreek Community Hospital, Spartansburg Regional Health Center, Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, Vohra Wound Physicians, and Larkin Community Hospital. His comprehensive training and practice have equipped him to manage a wide array of orthopedic conditions effectively.
His dedication to sports medicine culminated in his Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Inova Fairfax Medical Center in Northern Virginia. During his fellowship, he had the privilege of caring for numerous professional sports teams, including the Washington Spirit, DC Defenders, Loudon United, DC United, and the Washington Nationals, as well as participating in the World Rugby Championships. His involvement with local high schools further demonstrates his commitment to fostering athletic excellence and ensuring the well-being of young athletes.
In 2023, Dr. Ogg completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida. He holds a medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and earned his Master of Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University in 2004. Additionally, he completed a Wound Care Fellowship and a Master of Medical Education, showcasing his dedication to ongoing learning and professional development.
