He received both his Doctorate degree and his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, followed by his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Upon the completion of his education, the doctor became board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, whose mission is to serve the public by improving the quality of ophthalmic practice through a process of certification and Maintenance of Certification that fosters excellence and encourages continual learning.
