He then pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Windsor, completing his studies in 2002, followed by a Bachelor of Commerce in 2004. His passion for dentistry led him to the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree in 2008.
Following his dental education, Dr. Chitte honed his surgical skills through a rigorous general practice residency and internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the John D Dingell VAMC between 2009 and 2011. He further advanced his expertise by completing an additional residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Detroit Medical Center from January 2014 to June 2019.
A member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Michigan Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Chitte is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements. He attributes his success to the strong work ethic instilled in him by his parents, both of whom were physical therapists.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Chitte is passionate about giving back to his community. As a volunteer with the Windsor Rotary Club, he actively participates in philanthropic initiatives that aim to improve the lives of those around him.
On a personal note, Dr. Chitte enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife, Ami Patel, and their two children. Together, they embrace the joys of parenthood while fostering a strong family bond.
