Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Forche received his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame, and graduated with his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his residency in internal medicine at William Beaumont Hospital, and was an instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan. Finally, he completed his residency in dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology, which is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Among his other roles, he has been an attending physician at William Beaumont Hospital since 1995.
