Get to know Dermatologist Dr. Steven J. Forche, who serves patients in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

A prominent dermatologist, Dr. Forche works with patients at his private practice, Farmington Hills Dermatology in Michigan. 

Since 1975, Farmington Hills Dermatology has been providing the best care possible for their patients. Their established practice is able to attend to all general skin care needs.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Forche received his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame, and graduated with his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his residency in internal medicine at William Beaumont Hospital, and was an instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan. Finally, he completed his residency in dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology, which is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Among his other roles, he has been an attending physician at William Beaumont Hospital since 1995.

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin. The skin is the largest organ of the body. Dermatology is a specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. A dermatologist is a specialist doctor who manages skin diseases and deals with both internal and external causes and some cosmetic concerns involving the skin. Dermatological duties include taking consultations, providing screening tests, and undertaking non-invasive surgical procedures.
