Dr. Talebi is a hematologist-oncologist who is currently serving patients at his private practice, Miami Hematology & Oncology Associates in Florida. Miami Hematology & Oncology Associates is dedicated to providing the most advanced, compassionate cancer care possible to patients. Their mission is to help heal and educate fellow human beings.
Dr. Talebi has created a free comprehensive Hematology Board Review Course for healthcare professionals, as well as free educational videos for patients and colleagues on a number of different hematologic and oncologic diseases, in addition to commonly performed procedures. He is the co-author of the book “Hematology and Transfusion Medicine Board Review Made Simple”, which was published in March of 2012.
Dr. Talebi completed his residency in Internal medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He also completed his Hematology fellowship at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, followed by his Oncology fellowship at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Talebi is a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology and Eurasian Federation of Oncology. Dr. Talebi is board certified in both hematology and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
