In an era where critical care medicine is paramount to patient survival and recovery, Dr. Spyros Kamarinos, MD, stands out as a highly experienced intensivist dedicated to providing compassionate care for patients and their families. As a leader at Arizona Critical Care Specialists, LLC, located in Phoenix, Dr. Kamarinos and his colleagues utilize state-of-the-art techniques and treatments to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Currently affiliated with HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center and HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center, Dr. Kamarinos applies his expertise in critical care to improve patient outcomes. His extensive training and experience also extend to California, where he collaborates with Sharp Memorial Hospital, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, and Sharp Coronado Hospital.

With a focus on a variety of respiratory and critical conditions, Dr. Kamarinos specializes in asthma, bronchoscopy, chronic cough, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), endobronchial ultrasound, interstitial lung disease, and long COVID. His comprehensive approach ensures that each patient receives personalized treatment tailored to their specific needs.

Scholastically, Dr. Kamarinos earned his Medical Degree in 2004 from the Università Degli Studi Di Ferrara Facolta Di Medicina E Chirurgia in Italy. He then relocated to the United States, where he completed his residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. from 2008 to 2011. Following his residency, he pursued a fellowship at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 2011 to 2014. 

Dr. Kamarinos is board-certified in critical care medicine, internal medicine, and pulmonary disease, and is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. His commitment to excellence in critical care and his compassionate approach to medicine make him a valuable asset to both his patients and the healthcare community.

In addition to his professional qualifications, Dr. Kamarinos speaks multiple languages, including English, Greek, and Italian, which enhances his ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
