Her medical career started in 1984 when she graduated from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. An internship, residency and fellowship were then completed at the New York Hospital’s Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Adams is dual board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is an expert perinatologist, and also a specialist in maternal medicine, the management of high risk pregnancy and multiple pregnancies, menopausal disorders, and in labor and delivery. Dr. Adams has become noted for her caring and compassionate approach to her work, as well as for her skill as a perinatologist. In recognition of her expertise she has been awarded the coveted title of Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
