Academically, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Marist College, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Creighton University School of Dentistry.

He is a distinguished member of the Academy of Comprehensive Dental Studies, the oldest dental study club in America. He is also affiliated with prominent organizations such as the American Dental Association, Spear Continuing Education, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association, and regularly attends Pikes Peak Study Club courses in Colorado.
