I would like to express my gratitude to Lisa John, who has been an invaluable asset in both my medical practice and in teaching me the importance of compassion and selflessness. She has taught me the significance of giving from the heart and has shown me how to be a caring individual. Also, to Grandmaster Chun Sik Kim and Master Joseph Bruno (Bo Kwan Jang Nim) for their teachings in Tang Soo Do Karate. Through their guidance, I have learned the harmonious integration of the mind, body, and spirit, which has been instrumental in my journey towards inner peace.
My children Samuel and Michael have taught me the true meaning of happiness. Their presence in my life constantly reminds me of the joy that can be found in simple moments. I am also grateful for the support and influence of my family, friends, and the individuals I have encountered throughout my life. They have all played a significant role in shaping me into the person I am today. I firmly believe that one cannot become a skilled healer without embracing the wisdom imparted by others. I owe a debt of gratitude to my parents, Ana and Bernardo Kaliman, who instilled in me the values of living from the heart and treating every individual as equal, regardless of their background or origin. They taught me that deep down, we are all the same.
