In order to stay up to date in his field, he remains a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pierce County Dental Society. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kunal enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, giving back to the local community, traveling, and playing USTA tennis.
