Thereafter, he practiced as a hospitalist at Mercy Hospital Washington in Washington, Missouri, and at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.
In order to stay up to date in his field, Dr. Quarshie remains a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Infectious Disease Society of America, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the Texas Medical Association.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports such as soccer and basketball, lifting weights, and traveling internationally. The most important thing in his travels is food, seeing as how he is a foodie. His objective is to learn and grow as a person.
