Dr. Diaz is a full service dentist providing care in general dentistry and sleep apnea. She practices with the Aventura Dental Team in Aventura, FL.

Dr. Diaz earned her degree and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine is nationally recognized for its innovative interprofessional education and research activities, and its commitment to person centered care.

She became a Doctor of Dental Medicine at Southern Illinois University where she received an education using the latest technology in oral health care in a state of the art facility.

Dr. Diaz’s impressive career path began in Guatemala where she was born and raised. She moved to the US because of her passion for dentistry, attended school and began work as a dental technician. She has also served a Spanish English medical interpreter at Memorial Hospital, Colorado Springs.

The core values and philosophy of Dr. Diaz are evident in her volunteer work and continuing education. She has volunteered a dental assistant at Mission of Mercy, St. Louis MO and as a dental assistant  and medical interpreter during Guatemala Mission trips. She is involved in her community including as a member of the Miracle Society of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Recipient of numerous awards, Dr. DIaz was a recipient of a scholarship from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs as well as awarded the Chevron Phillips Scholarship at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She was also a FAME award recipient (First Year Academic Mark of Excellence).

Additionally, she is certified in the following: Botox and dermal fillers; Invisalign,and in the Treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
