Dr. Phillips completed his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine, where he graduated with his Medical Degree. After obtaining his Medical Degree Dr. Phillips completed his general surgery internship at Kern Medical Center along with his residency. Dr. Phillips serves as a Surgeon at Dignity Health. General surgeons not only perform surgeries for a wide range of common ailments, but are also responsible for patient care before, during, and after surgery. General surgeons are trained to operate on the Alimentary Tract (esophagus and related organs), Abdomen and its Contents, Breast, Skin and Soft Tissue, and the Endocrine System.
