There many thigs should be avoided. I would recommend to see a doctor of chiropractic first to rule out pathology. X-rays and MRs might be needed as well. Chiropractic adjustment will definitely help. Things to avoid: high heels, poor posture, tummy sleeping that will increase strain on your spine, avoid sitting and standing for prolonged period of times, lifting incorrectly, bad exercises, lacking a core straight. Does swimming help scoliosis?
Swimming is great exercise for almost any level of Scoliosis because it's significantly less jarring on the spine than other high-impact sports such as soccer or running. The water would reduce the body weight and acting forces placed on the body, therefore putting much less pressure on the spine. Hello, It can be a very simple solution or very complicated. If you are 29 years old, did not have any injury to your shoulder or the neck, then you have to change the way you sleep. I would personally look into your:pillow, mattress and posture during the sleep. If you had and injury to the above mentioned areas I would suggest to do X-ray, MRI and/or EMG/NCV testing to rule out pathology. My patients can remain fully clothed and comfortable, and it will not impede the chiropractic practice. i would add that my patients are wearing hospital gowns during the treatment and women do not have to take off their bras. First of all, do not use any heat at all after the treatment. Soreness may occur after an adjustment, particularly if the vertebra was significantly subluxated (out of place) prior to being adjusted.
