What helps with a bunion on the side of the feet?
Hi! Thanks for the question. The first issue is what kind of pain are you getting from itpressure in shoes, or actual pain when standing and walking due to the joint or how you stand on your foot. If its pressure from running in shoes, look for shoes with soft materials that will stretch and give. If you have hard leather shoes, you can have them spot stretched to provide more room. If there is actual pain from the bone or joint, then its time to see a podiatrist to have X-rays and an evaluation to determine how to best reduce the pain. Mary Peters, DPM, FACFAS READ MORE
