Throughout his academic career, Dr. Eruo Sr. earned his medical degree from the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus in 1988. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in general surgery at the Hospital of St. Raphael in 2000, and his residency in family medicine at Middlesex Hospital in 2001.
Wanting to further his education, he went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in 2004, followed by a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 2006.
As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
