Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Dilshad El-Naghy, who serves patients in Orange County, New York.

Dr. El-Naghy is a dedicated, multilingual board-certified pediatrician with a stellar academic background who serves patients in her private practice, Milestone Pediatrics, PLLC in Orange County, New York. She takes pride in providing quality, personalized care for each patient and her staff strives to provide a warm, welcoming environment that helps patients feel at ease.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh with full scholarship from the Government of Bangladesh. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in Pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. Dr. El-Naghy founded Milestone Pediatrics, PLLC in 2008.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), Dr. El-Naghy is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), which is one of the 24 certifying boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Founded in 1933, the ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. Certification by the ABP has one objective, to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. As a pediatrician, Dr. El-Naghy provides medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. She is trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature. 

Among her various achievements, Dr. El-Naghy is proud to have been selected as Hudson Valley Parent Magazine’s Favorite Doc Award winner last 10 + years running for going above and beyond parent’s expectations and providing exceptional healthcare. She has also been the recipient of Vitals Patient Choice, America’s Most Honored Professional, and Most Compassionate Doctor Awards in the last several years.
