With more than 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, Dr. Hussain assesses patients who seek medical attention at any time of day or night. He is an attending physician in the Emergency Departments at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell and Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
Opened in 2011, Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell is located on a 165-acre parcel of property situated on the east side of Scotch Road in Hopewell Township and conveniently located right off exit 73 on I-295. Designed to optimize patient care, the hospital features all private rooms for greater comfort and improved care. It is linked by an atrium to a building that houses physician offices, allowing patients easy access between physician offices and the hospital.
Located in Trenton, New Jersey, Capital Health Regional Medical Center is a regional academic medical center and state designated trauma center that cares for both complex and routine cases. It is a member of Capital Health System, with a mission “to improve health and promote wellness in the communities we serve.”
A graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey in Newark, Dr. Hussain went on to perform his residency in emergency medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York.
With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards.
Before joining Capital Health, Dr. Hussain was an emergency medicine consultant physician at a teaching hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for 11 years, where he also served as the Emergency Medicine Residency associate program director, and later, program director.
Continuously advancing his efforts, he is an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
