Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Serge Jean, who serves patients in Florida.

Dr. Jean has provided patients at Watson Clinic, LLC with the very best care since 1999. He specializes in otolaryngology, which includes expertise in reconstructive surgery of the head and neck region, as well as facial plastic surgery. He performs the most involved and complex reconstructive procedures, working to restore functionality and appearance for patients who suffer physical abnormalities of their face.

His skillful cosmetic surgeries have been known to shave years from a person’s appearance, from mid-face lifts to procedures that enhance the definition of the nose, chin or cheeks. In addition, Dr. Jean and his expert staff offer a variety of non-surgical treatment options that leave patients feeling fresh and revitalized, and help them reclaim a youthful exuberance to their appearance.

The scope and versatility of Dr. Jean’s services apply to the treatment of chronic snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea as well. Performed in less than 30 minutes, the procedure enhances quality of sleep for both patients and their spouses.

Regarding his educational background, Dr. Jean earned his medical degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Virology from Harvard Medical School in Boston in 1994. He then followed up by completing his internship in general surgery and his residency in otolaryngology at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.

With over 25 years of experience in the field, the doctor is board-certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). The ABOHNS serves the public by assuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Jean is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society for Head and Neck Surgery. He is also affiliated with Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center.

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.
