Regarding his educational background, Dr. Jean earned his medical degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Virology from Harvard Medical School in Boston in 1994. He then followed up by completing his internship in general surgery and his residency in otolaryngology at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
With over 25 years of experience in the field, the doctor is board-certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). The ABOHNS serves the public by assuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Jean is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society for Head and Neck Surgery. He is also affiliated with Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center.
