Back in 1999, Dr. Sandhu received his medical degree from Central America Health Sciences University, Belize and the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. He then went on to complete both his internship and residency in family medicine at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in 2008, where he was awarded Chief Medical Resident.
That same year, he attained board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
On a professional level, Dr. Sandhu is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also an attending physician at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.
