Raised on a peanut farm in east central Oklahoma near Atwood, his journey from a student-athlete in Holdenville Public Schools to a distinguished dental professional is a testament to his dedication and passion for serving his community.
Academically, he graduated from Oklahoma State University with a double major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, laying a strong foundation for his dental career. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1999. To further enhance his skills, Dr. Black completed advanced training at the Pankey Institute for Dental Implant Surgery, where he studied under dental luminaries Dawson and Kois.
In 1999, Dr. Black launched his dental career in Denison, Texas, but his commitment to his home state brought him back to Oklahoma in 2001. For over 17 years, he has been a pillar of the South Tulsa community, providing exceptional dental care and fostering long-lasting relationships with his patients. His practice at The Dental Studio of South Tulsa is characterized by a warm, welcoming atmosphere where patient comfort and satisfaction are paramount.
