In the subsequent years, from 1985 to 1988, Dr. Gribbin engaged in research focused on cardiovascular physiology and rehabilitation medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Manhattan, New York. Moving forward, she served as an intern in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center from 1988 to 1989, after which she undertook residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at The New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center from 1989 to 1992.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Gribbins serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Section Chairman of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, Attending Psychiatrist at University Princeton Medical Center, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Campus in New York.
